In the basement of the Rexburg Tabernacle, a museum featuring the history of Rexburg and the Teton Dam Flood is located. It has been a popular city landmark for years.

A large portion of Rexburg is located on top of a shield volcano. Popular places like BYU-Idaho and the Rexburg Idaho Temple rest on top of it too. Thankfully, volcanic eruptions are very unlikely and are more likely to occur in Yellowstone National Park or Island Park. The Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve serve as a wonderful example of how volcanoes and lava have helped to shape this region. In fact, the nutrients in the earth that give potatoes their high starch content in Idaho is because of the lava.

We have also been very proud to partner with the community and help support the Wall of Warmth. Since 2018, the Wall of Warmth has been helping locals keep warm in the winter. Each year, more and more jackets are donated, and they estimated close to 6,000 jackets were donated in 2021.
