The Snake River Landing is located on the west side of the river near the I-15. It is a large, mixed use development with parks, restaurants, residential areas and community event spaces! It currently is home to the Melaleuca Freedom Celebration, an Independence Day celebration that hasn’t missed a year in decades. The Melaleuca Freedom Celebration is considered to be one of the largest Independence Day fireworks shows this side of the Mississippi River!

Idaho Falls is also home to the Idaho Falls Regional Airport, but all the locals call it Fanning Field. It is the second busiest airport in Idaho. The IFRA was built almost 100 years ago in 1930, and planes have been flying in and out ever since! It has since seen numerous renovations to help keep up with the increasing population and demand.
