Trim Levels (Exterior)
Find the perfect Colorado from the four trims, the Work Truck, LT, Z71, and the off-road-ready ZR2. You can choose the Crew Cab for seating for up to five people that comes with a 74-inch bed and a box cargo volume of 49.9 cubic feet. This same cab configuration also comes with a short bed with a length of 61.7 inches and a box cargo volume of 41.3 cubic feet. In the Extended Cab, there's seating for up to four people, and this cab configuration only comes with the long bed. Make your 2022 Colorado stand out from the crowd with colors such as Sand Dune Metallic or Cherry Red.
Engine (Power)
Under the hood of all but the ZR2 is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an output of 200 horsepower and 191 pound-feet of torque. For more power, choose the optional 2.8-liter four-cylinder turbocharged Duramax diesel engine that delivers 181 horsepower and a massive 369 pound-feet of torque. Both of these engines pair with a six-speed automatic transmission. Under the hood of the ZR2 trim, you'll find a 3.6-liter V-6 engine producing 308 horsepower and 275-pound-feet of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission pairs with this engine.
Performance
From towing a boat to tackling rugged off-road trails, the versatile 2022 Colorado can get you where you need to go. Rear-wheel drive comes standard with the option to upgrade to four-wheel drive, which comes standard on the ZR2. Independent front MacPherson struts and a torsion beam rear axle provide a comfortable ride. Take the Z71 and ZR2 off-roading with the beefed-up suspension, air dampers, electronic locking front and rear differential, and protective skid plates. When properly equipped, the Chevrolet Colorado has a maximum towing capacity of 7,700 pounds and a maximum payload capacity of 1,550 pounds.
Interior
You can find basic amenities to luxurious features depending on the trim or available add-on packages. Elegant features include supple leather upholstery, climate-controlled front seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an EZ lift and lower tailgate.
All trims come with Chevrolet's Infotainment 3 system featuring a 7-inch or available 8-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. With the OnStar telematics system, you can get a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot. The upper trims come with a wireless charging pad, navigation, extra USB ports, and an upgraded audio system.
