2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV

You have two trims to choose from, the LT and luxurious Premier. The styling of this hatchback features playful designs such as a U-shaped front grille with angular headlights, a large sloping windshield, and a raked back end. The Bolt EV rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and comes in exterior colors such as Bright Blue Metallic or Cherry Red Tintcoat.

Both the LT and Premier trims come with the same powertrain. A 66-kWh lithium-ion battery pack sits under the floor and sends power to a permanent magnetic drive motor with an output of 200 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque. This power setup allows for a driving range of about 259 miles. When you use the standard charging system with a 120-volt power outlet, you can charge the battery in about 10 hours. However, if you add the DC fast-charging option, you can regenerate the battery with 100 miles of range in about 30 minutes.

The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV has surprising performance and acceleration for an all-electric car. This hatchback comes with front-wheel drive and has a one-pedal driving system as well as on-demand regenerative braking. With front MacPherson struts and torsion beam coil springs in the back, the 2022 Bolt EV provides a smooth and comfortable ride. Chevrolet states that the Bolt EV has a fast acceleration rate and can go from zero to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds.

This four-door hatchback has two rows of seats for seating for up to five people with 94.4 cubic feet of overall passenger volume. Cloth seats come standard on the LT trim, while the Premier has perforated leather seats. Add the Comfort and Convenience Package to the LT trim to get heated front and rear seats, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, a hands-free liftgate, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Many of the features in this package come standard on the Premium trim. Depending on the seating configurations, this four-door hatchback has a maximum of 56.6 cubic feet of cargo space. Both of the Bolt EV trims come with Chevrolet's Infotainment 3 system featuring a 10.2-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Other standard features include a Wi-Fi hot spot, Bluetooth, satellite radio, and two USB ports. You can also get optional features such as a seven-speaker Bose stereo system, a wireless charging pad, and automatic climate control.

The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV comes equipped with numerous driver-assist features to help keep you and your family safe while on the road. Key features include Teen Driver, lane keep assist, lane change alert, and automatic high-beam headlights. In addition, the Bolt EV comes with a forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
